Donna Calia
Donna is the co-founder and President of Pawfect Endings. She is a former teacher and school administrator. Currently, Donna is a parent (with Dad Kurt) of 2 teenagers. She and her family live in California. “Nothing brings more pure joy to the surface of life than spending time with an animal.”
Donna’s favorite book: Remembering Babylon by David Malouf
Kurt Calia
Kurt is a partner at the law firm Covington and Burling and the CFO of Pawfect Endings. “As an initial skeptic of owning a dog, I continue to marvel at how much joy they have brought into our lives. Each one is unique, has the capacity to love, and is deserving of a safe and loving home.”
Kurt’s favorite book: Einstein’s Dreams by Alan Lightman
Debbie Purowitz
Debbie is a competitive equestrian, dog lover, and Secretary of Pawfect Endings. “You can’t help but smile when there is a dog around! Somehow they always seem to understand how you are feeling and are right there to encourage and support you.

Anna Calia
Anna Calia helped co-found Pawfect Endings Animal Rescue at the age of 12. “Animals matter to me because they give me so much, and now it is time for me to give back. The bird songs make me smile in the early morning, the hoof beats that drum across my heart make me feel free, and a snuggle from a furry friend are what animals give to me (and much, much more)!“

Marco Calia
Marco Calia is an integral member of the Pawfect Endings team. Marco provides ongoing tech support for all aspects of our website. More importantly, Marco ensures that our “expert listeners” are fed everyday! “I love every one of our dogs. They are all very special in their own way.”
